A man robbed a Brooklet convenience store at gunpoint Saturday, and Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson hopes citizens can help identify and locate the suspect.
Wearing a camouflage jacket and a mask, a black man entered Sweet T’s #33 on Ga. 67 in Brooklet around 3:40 p.m. Saturday, he said.
The man, standing about 5’8”, weighing around 175 and between 40 an 50 years of age, waved a hand gun and demanded money, he said.
    The clerk was not injured.
The suspect fled in a gold colored Honda Accord, heading east on Ga. 46, Anderson said.
“Investigators processed the scene for evidence while patrol deputies canvassed the area for the suspect vehicle,” but the suspect was not found, he said.
Anyone with information on the armed robbery or the suspect is asked to make a confidential call to Inv. Jared Akins at 764-1789 or send a tip to “tips@bullochsheriff.com,” he said.
