Two men suspected in stealing more than two dozen golf cart and lawn mower batteries are behind bars, and several theft incidents were resolved through the arrests, Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said. Anthony Devon Dekle, Jr., 21, and James Wright, 17, both of Metter, are suspected in numerous thefts that took place within the past week, Nelson said. Both were charged with felony theft by taking and misdemeanor theft by taking.
