A man sitting at home in his car was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning, police said. The Gentilly Drive victim handed over cash, a cellphone and financial transaction cards, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said. Around 12:15 a.m., Statesboro Police Department responded to Gentilly Drive, where the 911 call indicated two black males approached the victim's vehicle on foot, showed a gun and demanded cash and other items of value.
