Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black is scheduled to be at Claxton Elementary School Saturday morning for the start of the Ag Expo and Farmers Market. The expo, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the campus along U.S. Highway 301 South in Claxton, caps the school’s weeklong farm-to-school celebration. The Georgia Department of Agriculture chose Claxton Elementary as one of five schools in the state to promote the Feed My School: Georgia Grown program this year.
