8 arrested in Park Place fight
Reason for melee unclear, but reports don't indicate any gang-related causes

Statesboro police arrested eight people Saturday after responding to a reported fight at Park Place Apartments. Five were listed as charged with affray, or fighting, in Monday's Bulloch County Jail roster. Statesboro police Sgt. Jake Saxon said further information regarding the fight was unavailable Monday, as the case remains under investigation.
