6 arrested in armed robbery of delivery driver

Statesboro police arrested six suspects they say were behind the July 9 armed robbery of a Chinese food delivery driver, who was struck in the head with a pistol during the holdup. Three are adults and three are juveniles, Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said in a news release issued Tuesday. Jeromy Jakeem Lonon, 20, of Pembroke; Jarvis Dennis Perkins, 17, of Green Street; and Dardriquez J. Smith, 17, of West Main Street, along with three juveniles, were arrested.
