Two people were airlifted to Savannah on Sunday night after a fiery crash at the intersection of Highway 119 and Highway 80 in Stilson.

Two others were taken by Bulloch County EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center, according to incomplete reports from Trooper Kane Smith with Georgia State Patrol Post 45.

Shanon Lynn McCready, 27, of Mitchell Drive in Rincon, was driving a 2005 Hyundai XG350, traveling south on Highway 119, when he tried to turn left onto Highway 80 after a stop around 8:45 p.m. Sunday, according to reports. He pulled into the path of a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Stephen Shawn Taylor, 37, of Stiles Avenue in Savannah.

McCready was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Statesboro, while Taylor was flown by Air Evac to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Rachel Lynn Flowers, 31, of Towne Park Drive in Rincon, a passenger in McCready's vehicle, also was flown by Air Evac to Savannah. A passenger in Stephen Taylor's car, Summer Dawn Taylor, age unavailable, of Stiles Avenue in Savannah, was taken to East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Smith reported.

McCready told Smith that he did not see Stephen Taylor's approaching car, as its headlights were not on. Witnesses also told law enforcement that they did not recall seeing headlights.

Stephen Taylor's car caught fire after the impact, destroying any evidence of whether its headlights were operational, according to reports.

Condition reports of all parties involved were unavailable Monday.

The wreck is still under investigation, and reports available Monday were incomplete.
