Two Atlanta residents were arrested on heroin trafficking charges Saturday after the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team conducted a narcotics investigation. Investigators with the CST responded Saturday to a unit in Park Place Apartments, in the 200 block of Lanier Drive, after receiving information that "a large amount of marijuana was being transported to that location from Atlanta," Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said Monday in a news release. A man and a woman arrived at 10 p.m. at the apartment to deliver the heroin, Anderson said.
