Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lehman Franklin III

    Laura "Lorie" Yeatts became the bride of Herbert Lehman Franklin III during a 5 p.m. ceremony on May 10, 2014, at Hackbranch Farm in Ailey, Ga. The Rev. Douglas Patterson officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Raymond Yeatts Jr.
    The groom is the son of Emma Louise Keaton Franklin and H. Lehman Franklin Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Peyton Howard Keaton Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lehman Franklin Sr.
    Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a slim A-line design featuring a delicate, sweetheart neckline and beaded lace motifs dancing across tulle with a corset back closure and cap sleeves.
    Mrs. Becca Hawk served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Woollen, Karen Henry, Carlyn Yeatts, Mrs. Annie Iskandarian and Mrs. Angie Bryant. Little Miss Avis Grace Cooke served as flower girl.
    Gene Forrest Dyar Jr. was best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Jackson, David Pearce, Huibertjan Fousert, Kevin Meeler and Aaron Barker. Christopher Yeatts and Samuel Kennedy served as ushers, and Master James Eli McKinney served as ring bearer.
    The reception immediately followed the ceremony, also held at Hackbranch Farm.
    The couple honeymooned on Turks and Caicos Islands and are making their home in Statesboro.
