Gary and Ann Alexander Witte of Statesboro celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 11, 2015. The couple married on September 11, 1965, in Macon, Ga. They have two children, Gary A. Witte of Kennesaw, Ga., and Pamela Witte Nye of Duluth, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Alex Witte of Buford, Ga., Eleni Witte of Kennesaw, Ga., and Melissa Coleman, Sarah Coleman and Rachel Nye of Duluth, Ga.
