Mr. and Mrs. James Williams and the late Elvie Lee Hendrix Williams of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Williams of Statesboro, to Philip Nance, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Betsy Duggar Nance.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rubbert Hendrix and Jewell Gerrald Hendrix Kicklighter, James Franklin Williams Sr. and Julia Mae Allen Williams. She is a 2012 graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently pursuing a medical assisting degree at Ogeechee Technical College.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Robert Franklin Nance Sr. and Janice Ruth Wilson Nance, and Arnold Jackson Duggar and Doris Marie Yarbrough Duggar. He is a 2009 graduate of Bible Baptist Christian Academy and spent a few semesters studying automotive technology at Ogeechee Technical College and a few semesters at East Georgia State College studying psychology. He is currently co-owner of Greenscapes Landscaping & Lawn Care.
    The couple has planned to wed on November 15, 2014, at 5 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church.
