Lorrie Anne White and Michael Kevin McCrary

    Mr. and Mrs. Tony White of Sandersville, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lorrie Anne White, to Michael Kevin McCrary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gray McCrary of Leesburg, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jane Wells and the late Mr. James D. Wells of Sandersville, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Anderson of Cedar Crossing, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Palmer White of Nevils, Ga. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Rose Riner of Cedar Crossing. Lorrie Anne was the 2010 salutatorian of Brentwood School. She completed Impact 360, a Christian gap-year program, in 2011. On May 9, she will graduate with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in education in communication sciences and disorders. Following graduation, Lorrie Anne plans to pursue a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Cook and the late Mr. George Cook of Sparta, Ga., and the late Rev. and Mrs. Howard McCrary of Milledgeville, Ga. Kevin was a 2010 honor graduate of Brentwood School. On May 10, he will graduate with honors from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation sciences. Following graduation, Kevin plans to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy.
    The wedding will be Sunday, May 11, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Sandersville First Baptist Church. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
