Amanda Leigh Agnew van den Bosch and Nicholas Ryan Ward

    Ms. Harriet Agnew of Statesboro, Ga., announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Amanda Leigh Agnew van den Bosch, to Nicholas Ryan Ward, son of Mr. Thomas and Ms. Jean Ward of Sylvania, Ga., and Ms. Marti Ward of Springfield, Ga.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Agnew. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Robert and Ms. Marguerite DeLoach of Statesboro and the late Mr. Charles and Ms. Nancy Agnew of Graham, N.C. Amanda graduated from Statesboro High School and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed by Franklin, Taulbee, Rushing, Snipes, and Marsh Law Firm in Statesboro as a paralegal.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Charlie and Ms. Sara Alice Ward of Sylvania and the late Mr. Al and Ms. Betty Mensching of Sylvania. Nick graduated from Screven County High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He is currently employed as a journeyman mechanic at Johnson Controls in Savannah, Ga.
    The couple plans to wed on April 12, 2014, at 4 p.m. on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Ga.
    No invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
