Jonathan, Thomas and Phillip Brunson are proud to announce the marriage of their father, Stephen Randall Brunson, to Lisa Michelle Summerford. Lisa and Steve were united in holy matrimony on June 1, 2013, in a private ceremony at the Brunson home in Statesboro, Ga. Clint Sullens, pastor of Olive Branch Baptist Church, officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Gail Summerford and the late Bill Summerford of Lanier, Ga. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is a public health nurse with the Southeast Health District.
    The groom is the son of Ronald Brunson and the late Margaret Brunson of Isle of Hope, Ga. Steve received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. He is an operations shift supervisor at Hatch Nuclear Power Plant.
    Five nephews — Frankie Brunson, Drew Long, Gavin Long, Will Summerford and Walker Summerford — started the ceremony carrying a surprise banner reading, "Uncle Steve, Here Comes Your Bride." Four nieces — Marian Brunson, Peyton Smith, Lacey Howell and Emma Gail Long — served as flower girls.
    The couple's family enjoyed a reception after the ceremony.
    Lisa and Steve honeymooned in Hilton Head Island, S.C., and now reside in Statesboro.
