Mr. and Mrs. Sean Joy

    Riviera Selph became the bride of Sean Joy during a 7 p.m. ceremony held on August 31st at the home of the bride's parents, Daniel and Crystal Selph. Mikell Oglesby officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Crystal Selph of Bryan County and is the granddaughter of Ethel Smith of Bulloch County. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Ed and Mattie Mae Slocumb.
    The groom is the son of Terry and Lee Ann Joy of Bulloch County and is the grandson of Vetsy Bozone and Roberta Joy. He is the great-grandson of Ellamae Szumizala.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white fit and flare gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure. The stretch satin gown enveloped the bodice with beautiful beads above the waist. Below the waist, it plummeted asymmetrically into a beaded design on one side that poured into a balloon train.
    Lorena Calderon served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Desiree' Joy and Kellie Mixon. Allyssa Harrison was flower girl.
    Douglas Stewart served as best man. Groomsmen were Cody Jett and Christian Selph, while Steven Houck and Matt Mixon served as ushers. Ring bearer was David Stewart.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Black Creek Golf Course Clubhouse in Bryan County.
    The couple honeymooned in the Jekyll Island Clubhouse King Suite and have made their home in Bryan County.
