Sheila Scott of Statesboro and Gary McNeil of Pooler announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Scott of Statesboro, to Chad Perkins Sr. of Statesboro, son of Brenda Alston and Frank Perkins, both of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margie Scott and the late Ernest Scott.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Pete and Pauline Parker and Mae Francis Perkins and the late Al "Toad" Perkins.
    Both the bride and groom are graduates of Statesboro High School, Class of 2002.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
