Mr. and Mrs. Tim Savelle of Watkinsville, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Elizabeth, to Ryne Joseph Brannen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brannen Jr. of Statesboro, Georgia.
Heather is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Taylor of Yorktown, Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Savelle of Ochlocknee, Georgia. A 2005 graduate of Oconee County High School, Heather received a BS degree in Animal and Dairy Science and Agriculture Education from the University of Georgia in 2009 and her master's degree from the University of Georgia, Tifton Campus, in Plant Protection and Pest Management in 2011. She is currently employed by the UGA Cooperative Extension Service in Waynesboro, Ga.
Ryne is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brannen of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cook of Valley, Alabama. Ryne graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 2003 and earned a BS in Agribusiness, with a minor in Crop Science from the University of Georgia in 2008. Ryne is also a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia, Tifton Campus, with a master's degree in Plant Protection and Pest Management. He is currently employed by the USDA in Tifton, Ga.
The wedding date is set for November 12, 2011, at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro.
