Jamie Alexandra Neves Samuels and David Terry Cromley

    Mr. and Mrs. Scott Alexander Samuels of Marietta, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Alexandra Neves Samuels, to David Terry Cromley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chap Cromley of Brooklet, Ga.
    The wedding is planned for Saturday, January 4th, 2014, at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander Samuels of Lynchburg, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Foster Neves Sr. of Fort Gaines, Ga. Jamie is a 2007 graduate of Lassiter High School in Marietta. In 2010, Jamie received a degree in psychology and in 2012 a master’s degree in public health from the University of Georgia. Jamie is currently employed by Georgia Southern University.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. Cromley Jr. of Brooklet and the late Mr. and Mrs. Truman S. Terry of Atlanta. David graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture (animal science) from the University of Georgia in 2009. He now works at his family farm, Nellwood Farms, in Brooklet, with his family.
