Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Charles Salzman of Brooklet, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sunny Alynn Salzman of Statesboro, Ga., to Jacob Wayne Clough, son of Dr. Richard Wayne Clough and Mrs. Terri Lynn Douglas.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lawanda B. Dickerson and the late Wayron R. Dickerson Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Lewis Salzman. Sunny attended high school at Bulloch Academy and college at Georgia Southern University.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Helen Clough and the late Wayne Clough and Luan Knauss and the late Donald Knauss. Jacob attended Illinois Wesleyan University and Southern Illinois University.
    The couple has planned to wed on August 23, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, with a reception to follow.
