Mr. and Mrs. James Marshall Long III celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today, Sunday, June 30, 2013. Jim and the former Patricia Lamb were married June 30, 1963, at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church. They are members of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church. Their children, Cindy (Derek) Boatright of Sandersville and Sandra Kate Hendrix of Vidalia honored them with a dinner party on June 29, 2013, at the home of John and Martha Ray. The Longs have three grandchildren, Austin Hendrix, Steven Boatright and Jessica Boatright.
