    Ronnie and Myra Smith Lipsey announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Dianne Lipsey, to Justin Lee Dyches, son of Mr. David Earl Dyches and Ms. Disree Burdett, all of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lloyd Smith and the late Irene W. Smith of Statesboro, as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Lipsey of Statesboro. She is a 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in child and family development. She is presently attending Ogeechee Technical College, pursuing a degree in radiologic technology. She is employed as the assistant manager of Party Impressions of Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Dyches of Statesboro and the late Mr. Brady Williams and Mrs. Edna Williams of Statesboro. He is a 2012 graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently employed at Gulfstream Aerospace as an aircraft painter II.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday,
August 8, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Old Freeman Family Farm in Screven County.
