Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kennedy of Statesboro, Georgia, plan to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on July 31st, 2011, from 2 until 5 p.m. in the Averitt Room of the First Baptist Church. The couple was married on August 6, 1961. They have two children, Frankie Kennedy and Wayne Kennedy, both of Statesboro; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The reception honoring the couple will be given by Frankie and Sandy Kennedy and Wayne and Jennifer Kennedy. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No gifts, please.
