Mr. and Mrs. William Burton Kemp Sr. will celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, August 25, between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Kinchley Place at 309 Singleton Avenue in Sylvania, Ga. The couple was married on August 23, 1953, at the Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Ga., by Dr. Robert Burns. The couple has two children, Burton Jr. (Monica) of Sylvania, Ga., and Mary Jo Kemp of Gibson, Ga. They have two grandchildren, Christie Kemp of Statesboro, Ga., and Stephanie Kemp of Macon, Ga.
