Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kearney of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandra Leigh Kearney of Atlanta, to Brian Dean Clouser, son of Dean Clouser and Mary Clouser.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Brown and the late Nolan Brown and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Kearney. She is a 2007 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Hayes Elementary in Kennesaw, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Carol Blackford, the late Charles Lott, Jean Clouser and the late Donald Clouser. He is a 2006 honor graduate of Summerville High School in Summerville, S.C., and a 2011 honor graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is employed with Kimley-Horn Associates as a project engineer.
    The couple has planned to wed on June 14 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Statesboro, with the reception to follow at the Belle House.
