Mr. and Mrs. Michael Geiger Gay of Savannah announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Ruth of Statesboro, to Daniel Joseph Stall, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Stall of Brooklet.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick William Mingledorff Jr. of Savannah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Glenn Gay of Savannah. Alison is a 2006 graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School and a 2010 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a bachelor's degree in Sociology.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Edwin Rushing Sr. of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Metz Stall of Garden City. Daniel is a 2002 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He is a 2010 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with a major in Echo cardiography. He is employed with AnMed Health Regional Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina.
    The couple has planned to wed on May 7, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Woodlawn Plantation in Guyton, Ga.
