Mr. and Mrs. James Curtis Deal of Statesboro plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 19, 2015, in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church social hall from 3 until 5 p.m. The couple married on September 10, 1965, in Statesboro. They have two children, Chris Deal (spouse, Joann) of Metter and Lisa Hodges (spouse, Kerry) of Sylvania; and four grandchildren, Hillary H. Dixon (spouse, James), Matthew Hodges, Tyler Deal and Christan Deal. Mrs. Deal is the former Caroline Heath. All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend. No gifts, please.
