    Mr. and Mrs. Mark Douglas Crapps of Springfield, Georgia, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Cobie Allison Crapps, to Wesley John Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lee Powell Jr. of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Grady Crapps and the late Mr. and Mrs. Angus Clinton Zittrouer of Springfield. Cobie is a 2005 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2010 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in interior design. She is employed by Dabbs-Williams General Contractors, LLC, in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Jones Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lee Powell Sr. of Statesboro. He is a 1999 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Wes is employed by BBWH Insurers in Statesboro.
    The wedding is planned for November 7, 2015, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Springfield.
