Allison Leigh Glisson and Rosser Moore were honored with several parties prior to their April 16th wedding.
    A Valentine's Day themed couples shower was hosted in Brookwood on February 12, 2011, by friends of the bride's family.
    A bridal brunch was hosted on March 12, 2011, at the Glen Oaks Clubhouse by friends of the bride and friends of the bride's mother.
    A couples tailgate party/shower was hosted in Pebblestone by friends of the bride and groom on March 26, 2011.
    A covered dish luncheon/shower was hosted by the bride's co-workers at BB&T's Southside location on April 6, 2011.
    Parents of the groom, Dr. and Mrs. Michael E. (Dixie) Moore hosted the rehearsal dinner at 119 Chops the evening before the ceremony, following the rehearsal at Shannon Vineyards.
    The tables were decorated with Gerbera daisies, candles and boxes of M&Ms personalized with the bride and groom's names and wedding date.
    Dr. and Mrs. Moore presented the couple with several gifts, including a scrapbook, hand-made by the groom's mother, filled with pictures of Allison and Adam from birth to their engagement pictures.
    The couple chose this time to give their gifts to the wedding party and thank them, as well as their families, for being such an important part of their
special day.
