Mr. and Mrs. John R. Clark of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashleigh Gayle Clark of Statesboro, to Joshua Robert Jones, son of Mr. Robbie Jones and the late Dee-Dee Jones of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bobby and Betty Jane Chappell and Sara Clark and the late Ivey Hall Clark. She is a graduate of Statesboro High School Class of 2008 and received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Georgia Southern University in 2012. She is employed with East Georgia Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse in pediatrics.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Marian Sowell and the late Eugene Davies and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Talmadge Jones. He is the great-grandson of Stella Donahue. He is a graduate of Statesboro High School Class of 2005 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in logistics and marketing from Georgia Southern University in 2009. He is an assistant manager with Georgia Ports Authority.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 12, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Beaver Creek Plantation.
