Dr. and Mrs. James Bierfeld of Miami, Florida, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Emily, to Christopher Matthew Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Richard Williams IV of Savannah, Georgia.

Miss Bierfeld is a graduate of Gulliver Preparatory High School. The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a Master’s of Science degree in management. She is currently employed as a marketing coordinator at GT Software in Atlanta.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics education and a Master’s Degree in kinesiology. He also received an education specialist degree in coaching pedagogy and physical education from Valdosta State University. He is currently employed as a mathematics teacher and varsity football coach at Lanier High School in Sugar Hill, Georgia.

A June wedding is planned.
