Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Boone Aiken of Florence, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Sanders Aiken, to William Harold Bolen Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. William Harold Bolen of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Franklin Hyman of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Sanders Aiken of Florence. She is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. She is employed by Homrich Berg, an independent wealth management firm based in Atlanta.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jean Bolen of Savannah, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Skipper Smith Jr. of Birmingham, Ala. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Harvard Business School. He is employed by Homrich Berg in Atlanta.
    The wedding will be held on January 4, 2014, at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, S.C.
