Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mingledorf Zeagler III of Sylvania, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Theola Zeagler of Mount Pleasant, S.C., to William Davidson Carlisle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mettauer Lee Carlisle of Columbia, S.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Stephens Zeagler and the late Mr. Frank Mingledorf Zeagler Jr. of Rocky Ford, Ga., and the late Mr. Charles Wendal Treado and Mrs. Theola Hurst Treado of Sylvania. She is a 2001 graduate of Screven County High School and attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies. Carolyn graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a BS in Nursing in 2005 and currently works as an RN in the operating room of the Medical University of South Carolina.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ruth Davidson Carlisle of Columbia, S.C., and the late Mr. William Aiken Carlisle of Columbia, S.C., and the late Mr. Holly Decatur Pearson of Denmark, S.C., and the late Mrs. Margaret Pearson Corbett of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. A 1995 graduate of Dreher High School, William is a 2000 graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Wildlife Biology and is a 2003 graduate with an MS in Forest Resources. He currently works for the Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife biologist.
The wedding is planned for March 6, 2010, at Saint Luke's Chapel in Charleston, S.C.
