Jordana Linn York Jonathan David Childree
    Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. York of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jordana Linn York of Statesboro, to Jonathan David Childree of Statesboro, son of Mrs. Rene Bohler Childree and the late James David Childree of Brooklet and Alma, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Catherine H. Smith and the late Mr. Richard T. Smith of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. James D. York of Tifton, Ga. Miss York is a 1999 graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She is currently employed by Farmer and Merchants Bank as a mortgage loan assistant.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. C. Emory Bohler and the late Dr. C. Emory Bohler of Brooklet and Mrs. Loutrelle M. Childree and the late Mr. John R. Childree of Cordele, Ga. Mr. Childree is a 2001 graduate of Bacon County High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Health and Human Sciences in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He is an alumni member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Eta Zeta Chapter. He is currently employed by Georgia Southern University as the chef of Talon’s Grille.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 25, 2009, at 5:30 in the afternoon at The Bohler Residence in Brooklet. The reception will follow at Forest Heights Country Club.
