Mr. and Mrs. Charles David Reed of Sylvania announce the engagement of their daughter, Christie Rebecca Reed, to Stephen Wade Faires, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Elias Faires Jr. of Evans, Ga.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Susan Moseley Reed. She is the granddaughter of Anne Hudmon Reed and the late David Weldon Reed of Sylvania and Raleigh G. Moseley and the late Cornelia Turner Moseley of Stockbridge, Ga. Miss Reed is a 2000 graduate of Screven County High School and a 2006 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is employed by CVS/Pharmacy as a pharmacist in Augusta.
Mr. Faires is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wade E. Faires Sr. of Gastonia, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Stewart of Newport News, Va. He is a 1993 graduate of Evans High School, a 1997 cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is employed by CVS/Pharmacy as a pharmacist in Augusta.
The wedding is planned for November 17, 2007, in Sylvania.
