Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Price of Statesboro announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katie Amanda, to Jonathan Dale Leonard, the son of Mr. Charles A. Leonard III of Springfield and Ms. Barbara H. Leonard of Stone Mountain.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pearl Price and the late Clarence M. Price and Mr. and Mrs. James Stubbs of Warner Robins. She is a 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She is employed by the Newton County Public School System and lives in Conyers, Ga.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Georgia Hunter and the late Mr. Frank Hunter of Dunwoody. He was a 2000 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. He resides in Conyers and is employed by the Newton County Public School System.
The wedding is planned for April 4, 2009, at 6:00 in the evening at First Baptist Church of Statesboro.
A reception will follow at Forest Heights Country Club.
