Mr. Steve Newman of Harrison, Tenn., and Ms. Melissa Andrews of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Newman of Statesboro, to Benjamin Davis, son of Gary and Nancy Davis.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Geneva Newman and the late Mr. J.C. Newman of Murphy, N.C., and Mrs. Lois Andrews and the late Mr. John Andrews of Statesboro. Miss Newman is a 1998 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2004 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Conner of Leefield and Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Davis of Social Circle, Ga. Mr. Davis is a 1998 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Tech. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering.
The couple has planned to wed on June 21st, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah.
