Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Neal of Twin City, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Jeremy Joseph Leatherwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Joseph Leatherwood of Black Creek, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Neal and the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Henry of Twin City. She is a 2004 graduate of Emanuel County Institute and is a 2006 graduate of Swainsboro Technical College with a Master of Cosmetology degree. She is employed at Market District Salon in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Liberty County High School and is also a 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is currently employed as a certified personal trainer at 180 Fitness in Statesboro.
A destination wedding will take place in Jamaica on October 8, 2009. A reception will follow on October 17, 2009, at the Carson Cross Clubhouse in Midville, Ga.
