Ms. Carol S. Murray of Augusta, Ga., is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Margaret Carol Murray of Statesboro, to James William Hall, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Max Hall of Newington, Ga.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mr. Calvin Lee Murray and is the granddaughter of Ms. Gwendolyn Powell of Nowata, Okla., and Mr. Edward Stroup of Milledgeville, Ga., and the late Dr. and Mrs. C.C. Murray of Athens, Ga. She is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She is employed as a supervisor of Talon's Grille at Georgia Southern University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Hansen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Reynolds. James is a graduate of Screven County High School. He is currently employed with UPS.
The couple has planned to wed on March 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.
