    Robin Malissa "Missy" Mensching of Sylvania and Troy Rahn Hutcheson Jr. of Statesboro announce their engagement and plans for their upcoming wedding.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Alfred and Betty Mensching of Sylvania. She is the granddaughter of the late Richard and Ethel Roberts of Dover and the late Elmer and Ella Mensching of Waverly, Iowa. Missy is a 1986 graduate of Screven County High School. She is a dental assistant with Dr. Cecil Bray.
    The groom-elect is the son of Pat and Troy Hutcheson of Statesboro. He is the grandson of the late Bennie Beasley of Statesboro and the late W.A. and Christine Hutcheson of Rocky Ford. Rahn is a 1981 graduate of Portal High School and a 1986 graduate of Georgia Southern College. He is the director of Institutional Development at Bulloch Academy and a baseball/softball umpire with the Southern Officials Association.
    The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Friendship Baptist Church in Hopeulikit with a reception to follow in the church’s social hall.
    No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are cordially invited.
