Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lord of Dublin, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikki Lord of Dublin, to Keith Messer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Messer.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robbie Lord of Adrian, Ga., and the late William Lord of Millen and Dora G. Morris and the late Herbert Morris Sr. of Soperton, Ga. Miss Lord is a graduate of East Laurens High School and Georgia Southern University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently teaching elementary school in Statesboro, while completing her Master’s of Education in Counseling at Georgia Southern University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Juanita Messer of Folkston, Ga., and the late Cefus B. Messer and the late Douglass and Joyce Ham of Statesboro. Mr. Messer is a graduate of Statesboro High School and Ogeechee Technical College with an Associate’s degree in Electronic Technology. He also attended Georgia Southern University. He is currently an independent insurance producer/broker.
The couple has planned to wed on May 31, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of the bride-elect’s parents in Dublin, Ga.
