Mr. and Mrs. John C. Cook of Pembroke announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda M. Foster of Statesboro, to Robert L. Scott Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Scott Sr. of Brooklet.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Harlod Selbo and Mrs. Alva Deloach of Statesboro. She is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is employed by the Bulloch County Animal Shelter.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Thomas and Edna-Mae Scott of Pembroke. He is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is currently employed with the Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Army National Guard.
The couple has planned to wed on May 10, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the Brooklet Methodist Church.
