Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Branden Groover
    Breanna Rose D'Zamko and Matthew Branden Groover were united in marriage on June 7, 2008, at Galilee Christian Church in Jefferson, Ga. The Rev. Tom Plank of Jefferson officiated the ceremony.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erik L. D'Zamko of Jefferson, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Peacock and the late Rev. Earl Peacock of Flowery Branch, Ga., and George D'Zamko and Mary D'Zamko of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren B. Groover of Statesboro, Ga. He is the grandson of Gwendoline Rogers and the late Martin Rogers of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Groover of Statesboro.
    The church was decorated with floral arrangements of vibrant colored flowers and plush green ferns. A floral arch was centered between two large candelabras. Ivory bows adorned the aisles.
    Music was provided by Laura Peacock, soloist; and Rachel Peacock, pianist, both cousins of the bride. Lauren Gunman and Mackie Bunster-Kunard, friends of the bride, served as program attendants and greeters. Sarah Skelton, friend of the bride, attended the bride's book.
    Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory strapless A-line gown adorned with pearls and laced with intricate floral embroidery. The hem was complimented by a scalloped edge. The elbow-length mantilla veil, embroidered with trim, completed the gown.
    The bride carried a bouquet of orange rust calla lilies.
    Laura Peacock of Buford, the bride's cousin, was maid of honor. Sarah Russell of Duluth was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sommer Shuford of Statesboro, sister of the groom; Rachel Peacock of Buford, cousin of the bride; Kyndal Quiggle, Kristen Reed and Brittany Truelove, all of Jefferson, and friends of the bride.
    The attendants wore tea-length, satin persimmon dresses in varying styles. They carried hand-tied bouquets of yellow roses.
    Faith Ann Rogers of Swainsboro, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. She wore an ivory satin dress adorned with a persimmon sash, matching the color of the bridesmaids' dresses.
    Cason Rogers of Swainsboro, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer. He pulled his sister down the aisle in a decorated wagon.
    The best man was Warren Groover, the groom's father. The groomsmen were Nathaniel Counts of Atlanta, Jon Thomas D'Zamko of Jefferson, brother of the bride; Daniel Hunter of Douglas, Joseph Shuford of Statesboro, brother-in-law of the groom; Josh Whitfield of Smyrna and Matthew Woodrum of Statesboro.
    Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception in Galilee Christian Church's Family Life Center.
    The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now resides in Watkinsville.
    The bride teaches special education in Winder and the groom is a third-year student at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
