Mr. and Mrs. Wayne A. Bias of Covington, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Nanci Elizabeth Bias of Statesboro, to Stephen Brent Conner of Statesboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Conner of Statesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Lietch of Conyers and the late Mr. and Mrs. Staats Bias Sr. of Covington. She is a graduate of Newton High School and Georgia Southern University, where she received a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. She is currently employed at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Julius J. Conner of Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lumpkin of Macon. He is a graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently employed as a field appraiser for the Bulloch County Tax Assessors Office.
The couple plans to wed on October 10, 2009, at the Friendship Baptist Church at 5 p.m.
