Mr. Arnold Ray Akins of Statesboro announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of his daughter, Julianna Akins, to William Clint Waits, son of Ms. Vicci Waits of Bellville and Mr. Bill Waits of Nicholasville, Ky. Julianna is also the daughter of the late Bunny Akins of Statesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Neva Akins of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Murray Parks of Amelia Island, Fla. Julianna is a graduate of Bulloch Academy and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Marketing degree and Ogeechee Technical College with a Radiologic Technology degree.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Stearns of Andalusia, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Waits of Florida and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schneider, also of Florida. Clint is a graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy.
A private ceremony is planned for April 26, 2008, in Bellville.
