Using her penchant for creativity to pursue a career is what Trinity Christian School valedictorian Hannah Smith has in her plans.
“I like to paint and draw – I am very artistic and creative,” she said.
After graduation she intends to study landscape architecture at the University of Georgia, where she hopes to also achieve a master’s degree in architecture.
The athletic 17-year-old has been involved in the school swim team as well as participating in cross country, softball and soccer. She likes English and math, sports and expressing herself through painting and drawing.
The second oldest of four, Hannah is the daughter of Chris and Candace Smith of Statesboro. Happy to be graduating, she is saddened that the Class of 2020 missed out on things like “prom and graduation, but it has been a learning experience,” she said.
