Brooklet Elementary held its 11th annual Pumpkin Parade Friday morning. Traditionally, the children parade their costumes and decorated pumpkins down Main Street in Brooklet, but, due to gray skies and drizzling rain, the event had to be moved indoors. Relatives and community members crowded into the school's mult-purpose room to watch the school's parade. The event, that promotes reading as well as creativity, is held at the end of Red Ribbon Week.
