Local women make, donate dolls for children to Statesboro police
All For HIs Glory Foundation donation
Glory Rodriguez and Jean Stalcup, center, presented dolls to the Statesboro Police Department on July 30. The women made the dolls as part of All For His Glory Foundation. The organization’s goal is to place two dolls in every patrol car at the SPD, so that boys and girls can be comforted when in stressful situations. Shown left to right with the ladies are Officers Jacob Henley, Katie Reese and Jesse Morrison; Capt. Carl Ramey Sr.; and Pastor David McLendon of New Covenant Church in Statesboro, the home church for Rodriguez and Stalcup.
When Jean Stalcup spotted Glory Rodriguez at church, she knew two things: Rodriguez was new to New Covenant Church and she was sporting some seriously awesome glasses.
