After a year hiatus to focus on soccer, Sam Sweet Feet Gordon, now 11 years old, made her return to the gridiron this year and reminded everyone not to underestimate a girls athletic abilities. According to the description of a video that she posted on YouTube, she missed football and came back after a year off to the sport she loved.

She posted a stat line that any football player would be envious of, scoring 15 touchdowns and averaging 13 yards per carry. She also played defense where she recorded 59 tackles, grabbed three interceptions and recovered a fumble. Her team finished with an 8-3 record.

Gordon became a Web sensation in 2012 after a four-minute video of her performance on the football field went viral. She appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, was interviewed on ESPNs SportsCenter and was featured on the cover of a Wheaties box. She also wrote her own book.
