Mickey Mouse has a new home: Shanghai.

A YouTube video released Feb. 22 gives viewers a preview of the Shanghai Disneyland Resort. The resort joins the California Disneyland Resort, the Florida Walt Disney World Resort, the Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

According to the video, the familiar Pirates of the Caribbean ride will be in the Shanghai resort, but this version will have boats that can spin, and part of the ride will travel backward.

The Shanghai resort will feature the largest Disney princess castle, the Enchanted Storybook Castle. The Disney Parks Blog explains that the castle has a spiral staircase, taking guests on a once upon a time adventure. Guests will also find retail, dining and entertainment at the castle.

24/7 Wall St. shared part of Disneys latest annual report, in which Bob Iger, The Walt Disney Company's chairman and CEO, talked about the resort.

Weve spent the better part of 20 years working to bring this grand vision to life, to create a one-of-a kind, world-class experience to inspire joy and wonder in the hearts of all who enter, Iger said. Now that construction is almost complete and all the major structures and landmarks are in place, the reality is even better than we could have ever imagined.

Shanghai Disneyland incorporates many local traditions and icons into the park. The top of the castle features a peony, Chinas flower, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The Garden of Twelve Friends at the Shanghai Disneyland Resort will display mosaic tiles of Disney characters representing the Chinese zodiac, according to another blog entry. For example, Tigger, from Winnie the Pooh, will represent the year of the tiger, and Abu, from Aladdin will represent the year of the monkey.

In addition to the theme park, the resort will have two Disney-themed hotels and a shopping district called Disneytown, according to the resort website.

China Christian Daily reported that the resort anticipates 10 million visitors during the first year.

The Shanghai Disneyland Resort opens June 16, with tickets available March 28.
