The sixth annual First Flight Open, presented by Innova Champion Discs, was held Feb. 13. More than 80 players braved bad weather to participate in the tournament, which was sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golfers Association. The tournament was canceled last year due to COVID.

Participants in this year's event included 65 amateurs and 16 professionals. According to the Bulloch County Disc Golf Club, which administered the tourney, one of the participants was David Feldberg, who recently ranked at NO. 45 in the world in disc golf.

The tournament was a one-day, two-round C-tier event at the Statesboro-Bulloch County disc golf course on Mill Creek Road.
